Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

Pics
I love that picture with the hiding chick! That picture belongs in a book. Heck, they all do! I think the world doesn't have enough chicken story books. You could get the upcoming generation interested in chickens if this were in storybook form, and we all know that would be a beautiful thing!

The kingdom border has been breached! Double the patrols - Call the giants! (The kingdom border is a 4-foot fence folded like an accordion, so that's not just a little bitty tree).

After a wet and miserable weekend, the kingdom celebrates the end of the rain with a feast of warm oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and corn, along with a healthy dollop of vitamins. Meanwhile, one of the neighboring giants had the unenviable task of mucking out mud and yuck in the coops (said giant did not take a picture of herself, sorry). The subjects of Brahmalot are mostly dry again, the giant, not so much right now!

I don't mind at all, SuperChickenDude. Just be warned, it will take over your life! You will not be able to go outside without a camera, hoping for "cuteness."

One ray of sun slowly peeks through the clouds and trees over Brahmalot after days of rain. The subjects gather in the sunbeam to celebrate (sorry, bad picture, taken through window so as not to disturb the masses).
