Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

As the first cold days come to Brahmalot, the citizens enjoy a treat of warm oatmeal and corn to warm their tummies.

Ruby, Brahmalot's champion, waits her turn to clean the bowls.

Ha!!! I have a dog named Ruby, too!!! She's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and she's a lot bigger and fatter than she should be.

Here she is

This is her when we shaved her for the summer, with all that hair, she could get heat stroke!!

This is her with her hair growing back, but still not at full length.

Brahmalot's champion, Ruby, is an Australian Shepherd (newly shaved). She was rescued by the neighboring giants almost 12 years ago when she was 4 years old (yes, she is 16 years old). She was abused by her previous owners and took a long time to trust men. She has remained very camera shy, leaving whenever a camera is pointed in her direction, so it is very difficult to snap a clear picture of her. She is the best!

Wow!! 16 is really old! We have a border collie mix that showed up in our golden retriever's doghouse one cold December night 16 years ago as a little pup...still have her. Mary may be old and slow now, but she still tries to act like a puppy

. She's our little champion!

Tiny Juliet is a giant of a mother! Once again, she has hatched foster-babies and will now raise three new members of Brahmalot!
