Hello from Canada!

Hubby and I have a small homestead and it has been a learning curve every step of the way!

We also have a wonderful garden and plan on increasing the number of gardens we have.

I grow everything from seed myself in my tiny little Greene house and love all of my animals!

We have a lot of birds for someone (me) who is terrified of birds!

I look forward to learning and growing with this site everyday and provide he best quality care for my animals!

:welcome:celebrate

Glad you're here Natasha!

A must have for your poultry is a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise.
It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!

One last thing, please get your chickens some Vaseline or bag balm to stave off frostbite before they get it! Baby, it's cold outside! :D

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

Oh no, don't be afraid of birds! :hugs:D. Chickens? All they really are, are feathered puppies. They are more scared of you than you are of them. :p Harmless creatures. :)

So glad you decided to join our community! :)

G’Day from down under Natasha :frow Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
