Mystic, we have Sex Links--I think they're a cross between Rhode Island Reds and maybe leghorns? We got them at Moyers in Quakertown, PA since it's only about a 45 minute drive. One egg per girl every day without fail and they're big and healthy looking, too. They trim their beaks and vaccinate for Mareks which is a plus. We just got another gargantuan egg this morning from one of the girls, another goose egg! I don't know how she does it! There's been about 1 double yolker for every dozen egg at least. Very productive

Hey My Rhode Island Reds will lay large eggs like that but don't lay everyday when they do! Usually they are double yoked!
