Look at this gorgeous stray cat!

We had a male, same color but short hair, show up here. One of the best cats we ever had live here, Had him for 18 years, he died a year ago just before Christmas and I still miss him,
Oh I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your pet. 18 years is a long time for a cat. I’m sure he was happy to be a part of your family!

We brought the pretty stray home. Unfortunately she has bloody diarrhea and doesn’t know how to bury her own poop (never learned?) so she’s in quarantine in our 1/2 bath while the vet figures out what’s wrong with her.

She’s tracked poop across every inch of the 1/2 bath multiple times, and I’ve been administering oral liquid antibiotics twice a day. :barnie Along with cleaning her paws and removing poop from her fluffy tail. I don’t know what else to do but this girl is so sweet and I’m hoping nothing is seriously wrong with her!

My hubby wants to name her “Natasha Romanov” because of her Russian Blue origins, my kid calls her “Fluffy” but I’m tempted to just call her “Dingleberry” since that’s all I’ve been dealing with. :lau

She is pretty. We have a gray cat that found us seven years ago. Everyone that has saw her thinks Russian blue. You did right by getting her shots, one of them is really important. Leukemia is a bad disease that a stray came into the house and took my Squirty away from us years later. Stray had the disease from his mama but was the kindest kitten. Kitten only lasted about 9 months if that and Squirty followed him everywhere.

She looks like she might have Main Coon in her.

Really! We used to give him a powder that was suppose to help but we didn't know if it did or not. He lived a half a year longer than what was expected of three years. Vitamin B helped squirty to the end.

Thanks, I'll have to search to see if I find something cause I'm always looking years later.

It’s rough to lose pets. I know some people say “But they’re JUST animals” and honestly I don’t want that kind of negativity in my life. All lives have meaning to me. Even animals.

I heard back from the vet, the new kitty as coccidia! So she’s on additional medication for that. I’m glad I’ve been cleaning up and diligent with hand washing. I’ve also been wearing different shoes when going into “quarantine” because I don’t want to track anything to the coop.

My chickens are 10 weeks old now and have not been on medicated feed, just ACV in their water and dried oregano sprinkled in their feed. Should I give the chickens medicated feed as a preventative measure since I now know for sure coccidia is present in my house?

She showed up outside my in-law’s workplace in an industrial/non-residential part of the city. She started to shiver and freak out when we gave her food. Poor thing must have been starving. She’s so tiny! But so sweet! I just had to brag about her beauty (even though she’s not a chicken). No one has claimed her on the lost-and-found Facebook post we made, so I guess I have a new cat?

Is she just a plain, old domestic long-haired? Or something else?
Yes, she is a very beautiful cat! Congratulations! You scored!

Our chicks have been on medicated crumbs feed when we picked them up at the store on May 11th. The chicks food is almost gone now so I need to pick up more. Came close to lasting a month.
