Look at what the cat dragged in...new pix on pgs 4, 5, 6

What a great Mom you are to allow your kids to learn about life this way. Reminds me of the good old days....when my Mom told me to watch an ant pile instead of watching TV...Good luck with the baby.

Please don't release him in my neck of the woods ! We already have so many that I have to put my tomato plants on the deck so the dogs can guard them ! The squirrels will strip every one of the tomatoes right off of the plants.

That's great-wildlife rehabbers often have their hands full, so it's great that they help train you to do this.

wow! he found a nest somewhere! can you find out where?? poor babies! wonder if moms dead??

We had Hammie and Scrat. Thankfully, they did well and we released them. We did see Hammie from time to time come into the carport. We had kept them in a big cage out there until they were big enough to release. He was very friendly but Scrat never was.

To cute!! My sister's mother inlaw found one at their cabin and my nephew raised it. It was way cute. He moved it outside and let it out during the day. He started leaving the cage open and one day it didn't come back. It is still around two years later. It will come up to him but nobody else can get even close.

I do wild-life rehabilitation. Esiblac is actually not the best stuff--can cause diarrhea. PM me and I'll tell you what I do. I curently have a six month old little girl squirrel(bald and eyes sealed shut when we got her). I'll release her in the Spring as soon as it warms up. Have you raised them before? You need to help them pee and poop by gently wiping them with a warm cloth. The mother does this. If not, they don't know quite yet how to pee and poop and it can actually kill them. I do this right after feedings.

if youve done this before, you know what ur doing...have fun with it....i wonder if the cats digging them out of a nest lol....maybe moms still around or your cats extra smart and knows they need to be saved cuz moms gone or something....i want a cat who brings me LIVE, UNharmed things lol

You are doing a great job! I would keep the kitty in for a couple of weeks if you can. Sounds like he knows where the nest is.
Best of luck and again feel free ring me should you need anything with them.
