These little guys hatched yesterday, a couple days early, but completely healthy and beautiful!
Just wanted to share the cuteness
Super proud as this is the first time I got a 91% hatch rate (thanks to my new brinsea) from all the fertile eggs the only fertile that I'm waiting on to hatch, seems to be a dwarf or slow growing... so might even be a 100% hatch rate, if it ends up hatching!
This is Ramen - cream legbar boy
This is Basil - cream legbar boy
This is Nutmeg - cream legbar female
This is Tamari - black croad langshan
This is Pingu - black croad langshan
This is Momo - black croad langshan
This is Tikka - Blue copper Maran (I think, as she's grey all over with a red head - hard to see in the photo)
This is Coconut - Blue Maran
This is Pie - Black copper Maran
This is Chili - Black copper Maran
I don't think you can tell the sex for the croad langshans or the marans at this point, but please do say if you think you know!
Yes, we named them after chicken dishes (apart from Pingu, but my brother was certain it looked like a Penguin so Pingu was necessary). My older chicks are called Pepper, PiriPiri, Noodle, Dumpling and Nugget. I'm British, we have a weird sense of humor
