Oh man, I know how that feels. My retired QH like to let himself and his pasture mate out of their stalls any chance he can get. Right now we have put bungee cords around the sliding doors and the posts to keep them in until I can find a latch he can't get out of... My brother was house sitting a little while ago and forgot to put the bungee cords back on after he fed and when we got home both of them were gone... I about had a heart attack but fortunately one of our wonderful neighbors put them in their field. Ugh I could have killed my brother right at that moment!

I am so happy for you. I know the insanity. The week after I bought our old mare for my daughter I arrived at the barn to find a search party looking for her! After an hour or so. The barn owners 8 year old son showed up on her. He had taken her out for a ride. This kid lived with a barn full of horses and hated riding. He had woke up that morning and decided he would take her for a spin. Just like that! Arg. Horses and Kids!
