Hello, thanks to everyone, the comb page really helped, I took three books out of the library, hoping to define the comb better, they were very vague on the topic.
But there has been another clue. Unfortunately (because I soooo wanted her to be an Aussie) she laid an egg today. And it was greenish blue. I think that this means ....she IS an EE? Correct? I am thrilled that she started laying, considering we have short days, and cold weather.
That Jersey Girl is a cutie pie. My Raven looks exactly like her, body wise, but not the comb and wattles, that is a big comb! I will look under her feet for the color, for now I will say, kind of grayish, definitely a darker color.
The gal is a mix, obviously.
I surely appreciate all the help!
By the way, just curious... what color eggs is Jersey Girl laying?
