Look what I found today!

My girls hatched their first babies on their own today!

They have shared the nest and kept each other company the entire time. I guess I will just have to give credit to both of them! They only had 4 eggs, 3 of which hatched. The other egg was squashed somehow after halfway hatching

There are 2 little boys and one girl.

Congrats! They are beautiful!!! My girls did the very same thing - two and sometimes three to a very large (extra large) dog kennel that I had set up in a box stall in the barn - thinking one of the girls might set up house keeping in the kennel. They hatched 2 of eight eggs. First time for both girls. They are part of a flock of 7 adults.
