I was coming home from Christmas shopping about 7:30 last night. It was pouring rain, we live about 4 miles in on a dirt road. The roads were very muddy and like I said it was pouring. I saw a white spec in the road and slowed down to find this pretty little girl. No collar, no id what so ever. I picked her up -- she came right to me -- put her in my car and brought her on home. When i got in I asked DH to hand me some towels so I could dry her off. Dogs are big no no for him. He likes the Cats and of course all our cows, but not too keen on dogs. So i got her cleaned up, and took her inside. Well when she saw DH she went running to him and started loving all over him. Talk about winning a mans heart. He was petting her and talking to her. I had never seen him act like this before. We made some calls to see if we could find the owner but no one knew of anyone missing her. I am posting signs today, but if no one calls I guess I have me a new dog -- well DH has him a new dog. She is very sweet, a little skittish, house broken and right now very tired. Her are some photos for you to see. I think my DH likes her coloring -- she has the same colors as a Hereford.

Oh, she is SO CUTE!!!!
On second thought, she looks like a mean, horrible cow-killer - and you should send her right up to me, because I have no cows.

She must belong to SOMEBODY- she looks a little *hrm* plump. Beagle x Corgi?
Did you check Lost and Found on Craigslist? That's how my neighbor found her dog after four months!

I hope you can keep her- cute little girlie!

i agree she is on the plump side. i am not too familiar with female dogs, we always had males growing up. I cannot see a scar from her being spade, is it possible she may be pregnant

? she has nipples like she is starting to develop or she has had pups before.

I am thinking beagle dauchound too. she must of been very tired she has slept a good part of the day. she has been out and checked out the farm. and seemed pretty happy with her new surroundings.
