She is a beauty! If she will let you roll her over, look for an indentation from just in front of her private parts to about midway up her belly. That should tell you if she has been spayed or not.

What have you named her? She looks like a dog I had as a kid. The white didn't go up as far on her head, but she had a small white star on the top.

She does look well fed, not preggers. Can't believe someone would just throw her away

Possibly a beagle/corgi? Whenever I see big looking dogs w/short legs, I always think of corgies. She sure is cute. Good thing she knew who to kiss up to!

I have posted signs around the area. so if anyone is looking for her they should find my signs. I thought she may be a hunting dump too, but she does not seem much like a hunting dog -- hence the dump maybe. she loves to chase the chickens. I think she is wanting to play with them. I know the cats and her have had a round or two, but they are settling in. One of her funny/odd behaviors is that she will not cross the threshold of the door to come inside She jumps around and wants to come in but I have to pick her up and put her inside--then she runs off happy as can be. She is really cute. i have to work on this chicken chasing thing, she does NOT understand the word no. she does not seem trained in anyway, even with sit or down. It is off to the vet tomorrow to have her checked out. Then she will get to spend the day at work with me.
