LOOK what I just got, for FREE!!!

If you get some pipes 3" pvc you could lift one side at a time then put the pipes under. then just roll it onto the trailer. evertime the pipe comes out the back put it in the front. i do this all the time when moving 600 to 700 pound boilers. to this should work for this. try to save your back anyway you can. bobby

Good for you! Unfortunately I never have that kind of luck, but for those of you who do, that's wonderful! Good luck with loading and transporting it. Be sure to take pics and show us all what you've done with it once you've transformed into a coop!

Oh that is so cute, kinda looks like a little Swiss Chalet. Do you have a rental place near by? You could see if they have one of those ramps, with those rolling bars on it. All ya'll would have to do is tip it on it's back and roll it up the ramp. I would definetly haul in on it's side, verses upright, seems like it would be more stable during the hauling process.

Good morning all. I showed it to my DH this morning and figured that he would say that he wasn't interested in going to get it for me, but he was pretty excited about it as well. I didn't even have to bring him a cup of coffee this morning or do anything else for him.....LOL Actually, he was awake at 4: am this mornig, because he fell asleep a little early last night, so he brought me a cup of coffee.

crazychickenrancher - My DH is planning/hoping to back up to the front of it and just lift the front up and back the trailer under the front and slide it up onto the trailer.

digitS - We do have a pickup truck, but my DH has a small Ranger and the bed isn't large enough. Maybe he can take my nephew with him and use his full sized Ford. I will wait and see what he does. I do not care, as long as he gets it here in one piece....lol

Linda - I thought about possibly making 2 out of it, but will have to wait and see exactly what it is first (in person). It was a playhouse for their children, but they have outgrown it now.

gumpsgirl - I felt the same way that you do. I never USUALLY find the good stuff. I just happened to stumble upon this and jumped on it...lol Keep looking, that is what I did and found this.l

joe - My carpentry skills aren't that great. I can build it, but I have trouble when it comes to having to cut a peice of wood...lol

Pass - My DH will do it, which ever way that he thinks it is best and I do not care, as long as he gets it here. I did mention to him about possibly laying it on it's back and transporting it that way, but he said that he thinks that it would tip over easier on it's back. I guess that he will see when we go out there.

BTW, we will be picking it up either this evening or in the morning. It all depends on if my DH gets off of work early enough to go get it today.

I think you will have to either tip it forward onto the trailer (protect the window), or turn it around and lay it on it's back. It's too tall to put on a trailer standing up. I used to be trucker, and everywhere, the legal load height is 13 foot 6 inches. Putting an 11 foot plus coop on a traile will be awful close.......
