It's feathers were so soft! But the claws around my thumb and in the palm of my hand hurt. I think their wing feathers are made different to be stealthy/quiet in flight. His eyes were a beautiful clear gold and huge! He was HEAVY for such a small animal. Weighed more than my juvy silkie or cochin. But less than my turkey hen. LOL
