Look what my motion sensor cam caught

Lost a couple of bird this year to night time predators so I borrow a cam from my brother and set it up behind the coop.

Found one nasty predator sneaking around but there's more. See if you see the other predator lurking around. I didn't see it at first.

Well, the possum is obvious...but maybe there are two little eyes of something (?) or maybe not ??

Yeah little screech owl. He's so tiny. Funny how he was looking at the cam. I guess he heard the possum.

He's so cute. haha

That looks like a little screech owl, they are way too small to be chicken predators, more likely to be interested in the mice your chicken feed attracts. Great picture!
