amen! We actually live in the city, if you want to call it that as I made a previous post that my daughter got hurt and they had to airlift her to a hospital to get checked otu because they don't do babies!
But we live on a nice piece of rural water front property with lots of predators!

As a general rule, relocation of a pest like that is illegal. The most humane thing to do is to shoot him and cause instantaneous death. Even with predators, no need for them to suffer needlessly. I wouldn't torture animals even the ones eating my chickens. Instant death is the most humane thing to do with any predator.

Oh I want him dead, I still can't do it. I have him sitting in the shade chillin, waiting till hubby gets home, he was sleeping last i looked

There is a group here, private business I think, that catches and relocates wild animals. They caught a family of skunks for us that were under a building.

Why do they have to look so cute? Especially curled up like that. That stinks for all involved. I wouldn't want it around though, I know that.

For $50 Id let the exterminator handle it. If thats who they were calling. Some of them won't kill animals, but will relocate them where they can't come back.

If you relocate this guy yourself he will come back and get into your chickens again. yours next best option is to shoot him.

I really hope you DON"T drown him. It would be such a needless cruelty. I know they're really nasty animals, but there are better ways. I've never been in that position before, but it must be tough. If you're going to kill it, I think having your husband shoot it would definitely be your best option, which seems to be what you're planning on.

Probably because we are almost neighbors I'm in inverness!!! $50 not going to happen. That will buy food for my family for a day. sorry, but that is a lot of money to us right now.
