Look what we caught today

Not having been bit by a venomous snake before, I do not know how that would be, but I have been bit by non-venomous snakes and I can tell you - it's over before you know you've been bit. Little bruise-y feeling for a couple of days and that's it. Hurts less than a bee sting or fire ant. The only shock value it has (at least for me) is of the "Did that sucker just BITE me???" variety, rather than any physical/health related shock. That said, I still jump sky high when I find a snake near enough to strike.

No smelling that I observed. I guess I was too involved in my gardening. You definetely have a very sensetive nose.
UPDATE: My finger is still swollen, numb and peeling with sharp pains shooting to the tip of my poor finger ...sniff, sniff. But the bite seems to be healing. It's even hard to type. That is hard to me to overcome.

Glad to hear you're healing, batgirl. Sorry about the pain...did the doctors say how long it will take you to fully recover pain-wise?

Good morning-
Just wanted to say, 'Yay, Accidental Farm!" We are all (mom/dad/Olivia) reading this thread and cheering that you relocated the coral nake instead of killing it. Way to go! Olivia wants me to write, "My daughter is in love with snakes..."

No they didn't say. All they said was they don't get many snake bites. I think I need to go to a Neuro Surgeon because it has effected my central nervous system.
Thanks for the well wishes.
