This will be our last ducklings for a while. We have plenty of ducks and don't need anymore, but my son who raises and shows his ducks wanted to try showing some Cayugas. Considering that I always wanted some I didn't mind getting them, and we chose Metzer Farms because I didn't want a bunch of extra drakes and only wanted a few ducklings. Would you please welcome Ash, Ink, and Clover.

I forgot how messy these little guys could be. These pictures were taken about twenty-five to thirty minutes after we put them in their brooder.

I am using Nutri-Drench with these ducklings and was wondering if that would supply them with enough Niacin, yes or no? Do you see the peas? I actually use the peas to lure them to water and food. They LOVE them.

sigh.

Look at the little duckie feet!!!!!!

I'm curious about the peas; it's okay to feed them to ducklings that young? Looks like they are cooked, like from a can?

They are precious

I use nutridrench for my chicks and ducklings and I do believe it has enough of the niacin they would need, I don't make it quite as concentrated as they say becuae i read on BYC that it can cause diarreah[sp] and with duckling you sure don't want that. Frozen peas cooked till warm in the microwave then smashed is fine just be sure they get grit along with it, and not too much peas.
