Still waiting for The Betty Ford Clinic to Open that "wing" for us!
My story is, I was gonna just have 6. I have 30 now, and about 30 more coming this spring!
My DH can go through almost a dozen a day! Thankfully, the rest of us do not eat quite as many. This post reminds me....I may need to add some layers to the flock too.
Chicks are very cute, eggs are very tasty and chickens are very entertaining
I will not admit to a chick/chicken addiction, for now it will be known as my habit
After I built my first coop and run with brand new lumber, I now have my egg out (errrr eye out) for good used building materials. This week, I got some gently used 2"x4"s, 2"x6"s and full sheets and half sheets of T-111...nice and free!
Last year, we got 4 chicks. This year...this month 4 more chicks!
If I stick to my yearly doubling chick plan, it won't get out of control until 2013
I finished building my coop and moved my girls in. All is well except one thing....I NOW WANT TO BUILD A BIGGER COOP AND GET MANY MANY MORE GIRLS!!!! I am addicted! I love my chickens!
I am major addicted!!
I need help! But I would not accept it, I am having too much fun.
