Lookie what I caught...

I think that Animal Control or a veterinarian should be able to check for a microchip, as suggested in the previous post. Chipping a hound, with their propensity to wander, would be pretty cheap insurance for the dog's return.

call the animall shelter and leave her discription and your contact info, our shelter here lets us keep the dog if we want to keep it out of the shelter while looking for the owners, if the owners call the shelter or go in looking for the dog they will give them your number to call you to identify the lost dog. its a realy nice way to keep a lost dog out of a very stressfull situation. the shelter should always be a last resort for a lost dog. its terifying for some dogs.
