Looking for a book I read as a kid!! I FOUND IT!!

Hmmm, are you sure it wasn't a Kathryn Jackson book? She wrote a bunch of books with Richard Scarry but they weren't illustrated exactly like the Scarry books. Here is a list of some of her books. Another one of hers was called The Golden Book of 365 Stories -- I wonder if that's the one you're thinking of.

It was a glossy hardback, not a little golden. I do remember that much. The cover was very colorful, I think miss kitty was on it, with a dress. I know either the back or inside back cover had Miss Kitty sitting on a green truck(a male bear driving), the truck was covered in paper flowers.

The print was regular, I think. It wasn't small and it wasn't huge. The closest I can guess is the book would have been about 12 x 7, approximately.

Cannot seem to find a copy of one... I believe it was just called Ocelot. And others... some have turned up in the strangest places... found a reprint of one book at the Dollar Tree!!!! Go fig LOL
