Hey everyone!

The girls from our church are doing a cookie dough fund raiser to help them pay their way to camp this summer and I am having a terrible time trying to find a drop sugar cookie recipe that makes a lot of dough/cookies. Does anyone here have one?

Thanks!

Oh yum! I would love one, too! I love sugar cookies, but hate rolling them out.

WHat if you did a toll house cookie recipe and left out the chocolate chips and replaced the brown sugar with white sugar?

2 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 c oleo
1/2 c crisco
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg & 1tbsp milk

milx all dry ingredients into all wet ingredients. drop by spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. flatten with bottom of a glass dipped in sugar

bake 400 12-15 minutes.

I don't remember how many this is supposed to make.

I have a good one Terrie, but it takes a cup of oil, which makes them oily. We are freezing the cookie dough, so I don't think my recipe would work very well.

they's be way too runny. You'd have to over compensate with flour to thicken themand then, well, it'd taste like flour!

Like scbatz33 stated, it wouldn't work. Sugar cookies need a different base that chocolate chip cookies do. Thanks for the idea though!

scbatz33 - Thanks for the recipe! I'm thinking with that amount of flour it would only make about 3 or 4 dozen cookies though. I need a recipe that I can make in massive quantities as we are selling the cookie dough by the quart.

Heres a very good cookie recipe.2 cups soft butter
3 cups confectionary sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
5 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda Bake 375 for 7-8 minutes
cream sugar and butter add eggs, flavorings. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed. Drop by tsp. on to cookie sheet.

Icing
1 cup confectionary sugar
1 egg white
1/8 tsp cream of tarter
beat until fluffy
This works great in a cookie press too.
