Looking for a source in the USA for standard size Silkies

I believe @MysteryChicken has been working on a project or two involving larger silkies, maybe they might know someone who knows someone?

You may have better luck with inquiries if you ask about "large fowl" instead of "standard." You might also try asking about "meat" silkies. I know black skinned/boned birds are a niche market in areas with a large population of Asian descent where they're considered a delicacy. But people in that niche are less likely to use "show bird" terms like bantam/standard/large fowl/etc.
The US refers Largefowl Chinese Silkies as Broiler Silkies. Hoover's/TSC is where I get mine since they're wrongly sold as Bantams.

I am working on Giant Silkies.

Anyone familiar with a breed of Silkie called a Silked Easter Egger?
Silkied Easter Egger is just an Easter Egger with the Silkie Feather gene, they sometimes share other traits with silkies, only due to the other genes being dominant.

Thank you for that clarification. That breed might satisfy my client’s desire for the Silkie “look” in a large enough size that the hens wouldn’t be mercilessly bullied in a mixed flock of larger birds. Still interested in learning more about your Giant Silkies though.

Thank you. Any idea where I can purchase either a Giant Silkie or Silkies Easter Egger hatchling?
Giant Silkies won't be available until I make them. You won't be able to source them anywhere else, until other breeders get ahold of some.

I think Meyer Hatchery has Silkied Easter Eggers, but will have to check.
