Hi, I'm new to this site. I am in Indiana and am hoping to have chickens some day, but just learning now. I'm looking for a speaker for an event I am hosting in Indiana next April. It is at a state park, at a women- only retreat weekend. I would love to have an experienced chicken person speak to a small group about raising chickens, chicken coops, etc. If anyone is interested, please let me know! Thank you.

You might want to reach out to your local Extension office, FFA, etc - consider that not only would adult chicken folk be a great resource, but there are many young people who have years of experience and knowledge that could share just as much, if not more, great information with your group and it would be a good opportunity for the young person. Also, if you haven't already, pop into the "Indiana BYCer" thread here on the forum and you can connect with some great "local" folks who would likely be a great resource.
