If you want lots of white eggs then Leghorns should top the list. I believe whites lay the best, but if you don't want all white then they also come in light brown, dark brown, exchequer, buff, red, and often the hatcheries have their own special leghorn strains.

Yes leghorns are good it my family doesn't won't a loud chicken.
