I have a chicken coop with 2 roosters and 36 hens. They have been together for a year and a half. Recently one of my roosters started limping. I can’t find any obvious injury. It’s possibly a sprain. Even though the two boys have been known to tangle on occasion, they have never drawn any injury to each other. The injured rooster currently seems to avoid the other boy, but I haven’t seen any attack. I have another coop with three birds, two standard sized and one banty, that I could try to move him to. However, if it doesn’t work out, I worry that I won’t be able to move him back to the big coop for his safety. I can leave him for now and watch that he isn’t attacked by the other guy because of his weakness. I could use some suggestions and advice.
