I am a breeder and hatch out several hundred chicks every year. This is my brooder. I have also used melon boxes. Good luck and have fun...

I use incandescent light bulbs as a heat source. I also have chick/grow-out coops. It's not fancy but works.

I would use a radiant heat panel against half the back walls keeping the heat source on the same side on each stack and heat clustered with heat, cool clustered with cool. Like this:

Hello, welcome. Someone said brinsea, maybe the Brinsea EcoGlow Brooder is an option. It uses low power and isn't too expensive, but also doesnt look commercial grade. Maybe there are others.
