I am hoping to find this breed locally. I am looking to either hatch or get a couple day-olds (preferably hens, but I will chance it with a straight run). I only have a small backyard coop, enough room for six Bantams. But with the size of this breed, I can probably add four more to my three Banties.
I really love the regular, auburn and black quail color and the blue-silver duel tone Belgians.
I cannot find anyone selling less than 15-25 chicks. I just cannot handle that many! I sent out an inquiry to a breeder in Arkansas. I am waiting to hear back. They sell in smaller quantity. But, I have my worries about shipping eggs so far, as they do not offer day-olds.
If there is anyone who could help me find these Bearded Belgian Quail D'anvers locally, or closer to NH, I would be eternally grateful!
Thank you.
