Looking for, Buff Brahma Bantam chick close to Nashua, NH

Does anyone have these lil chicks. Im looking for a pet only. Would like a hen if I could.
I am new on here and VERY happy that I found this place! This will be our first chicken and I just cant wait!
This breed from all I have read is a great lil friend!
Anyones feelings on this would be great! I'd love to hear from owners!

Welcome!

I've never had brahmas, so I can't help you there. But if you're interested in seeing what local people have you can check out one of the many chicken swaps scheduled in NH over the next month. Probably the closest for you is one at TSC in Milford on June 21. There are always lots of birds to choose from! There's threads for all the swaps in the Chickenstocks, Swaps, etc directory.

Besides, you can't have just one chicken anyway!

I hatched out 3 little banty cochin chicks 2 weeks ago, 2 blues and a black. Cute cute cute!

i have light brahmas coming on friday from Cackle Hatchery that are supposed to be day old pullets. but i know you are probably looking for an older bird. and these are not supposed to be bantams.

i will have 10 of them coming and i am planning on selling a few at one of the upcomming swaps in NH. i was planning on the Chichester and Hampton swaps in June but could make a trip down to the Milford one to meet.

I have been to that site but I have to order 10 or more.. I AM wanting a baby! I was told thta would be the best place to start. One site I went to said they can sex them at a day old and if I didnt get from them that I might end up with a roster.. I DO want a hen but do want a baby! Kind of stuck I guess!
I am going to go to the swap On the 6th!
Any words of advice?
