Hey guys! Im getting six day olds in March and I'm looking for some perfect and easy chicken coop ideas. Any ideas? Btw I'm getting 2 barred rocks, 2 red sex-links and 2 black sex-links. Thanks!

The link you've been given is a great place to start. Food for thought as you browse and become inspired, I would encourage you to build bigger than you think you need. The birds you have now will thank you for the extra space and having that extra space already available will make life much easier when the inevitable chicken math kicks in. It is much easier to build bigger than you need now than to try to modify or add on to a too small coupe later.

What kind of budget are you working with?
Are you able to build complicated structures?

Personally I really like a walk in coop and a run I don't have to hunch over in.

Oh yes! The older I get the less I like the idea of stooping,bending or crawling around in muck . It's important to consider not just the needs of the birds but the comfort and convenience of the keeper. Besides if you are one who is anticipating wanting to spend time bonding with your birds that as much easier to accomplish in a co-op and run that you can actually access
