GreenFire Farms in Tallahassee Florida.

They have a web site too.

I just came from their location a week ago to pick up a different breed.

They have a very nice & clean set up. Birds look very healthy.

NOT HATCHERY STOCK - - - check out their web site.

I would put a little warning on getting from them - They often seriously overprice their birds, and of the friends I've known who have gotten from them, they were sent chicks who were far older than a day, and thus arrived dead.

OVER PRICED:
I compared their pricing to several other private breeders who offered "specialty" stock and found their prices comparative.
I only needed two young roos and was able to avoid shipping costs because I picked them up.
I was looking for two young roos and didn't want brothers. Greenfire farms keeps their stock separate and ships from different blood lines so that your stock is genentically diverse. Also, I was looking for a little older bird. I wanted mine to be around a month old.

Greenfire farms was able to meet all my wants and did so in a professional manner.
They were friendly - - -owner and "farm worker". They responded to all communication quickly.
There was no pressure to buy.

DEAD BIRDS:
I know they ship older birds - - - if wanted. They advertise that on their web site.
I saw Day-Olds while I was there . . . .I saw month olds . . . .I saw full grow HUGE HEALTHY BIRDS.
I would think that they wouldn't be able to ship "dead" old birds too many times before complaints were posted.
I searched and researched before I did business with them and found no negative feedback EXCEPT their pricing was high.

My only question . .. .
Illia - - how were your friends treated after the birds arrived dead? Did Greenfire farms make good on the shipment?

Maybe you should pm me the response so that we don't high jack this thread

HATCHING EGGS:
The original post requested - - - hatching eggs. Greenfire farms does ship eggs. They have a great web site that gives all the details. They also ship on ebay. You can check their feedback on ebay.

RECOMMENDATION:
My recommendation still stands.
I was looking for something "special" and willing to pay "extra" for it.
I was treated well.
I saw their farm and it was clean and the birds were huge -- - so I think I got QUALITY Birds.

I recommend that you do what works for you. This worked for me . . . . .but may be it won't work for you.
