Looking for female friends for new boy!

Hiya. I rescued a young (11w now) male quail just a about a week ago. The owner was going to kill him, so I scooped him up. But now he's been screaming a lot. I feel bad having him alone, but at least he's safe. My family has fallen on hard times so my budget for friends is pretty dry.

If anyone is looking to rehome some girls, or if anyone wants a male, please reach out! I want the best for the little guy.

He looks like a coturnix to me. His colour is rosetta or tibetan. Another couple pictures in better light will help identify his colour if it matters.
