Looking for HELP with my sick hen

You are fine....
Yes give her the 4 drops of the "stronger dose" now.
Corid is quite safe...don't worry about over dosing her.

Update on my hen - I gave her a dose of the Corid yesterday and today and have been giving her the Corid/water mix, applesauce and yogurt, and a small amount of Pedialyte with a syringe. She will eat a few small pieces of grape with the yogurt or applesauce on her own, and seems to love sunflower seeds. But since she is not eating enough on her own I have been "helping" her with that. I also started "helping" her eat her feed pellets. She seemed to have a bit more energy today when I put her out in her private yard, but still is not foraging. She pooped more last night than she has in a few days. A lot of white on top of green. Looking at the poo charts it seems to be a mix of a HOT weather poop and a normal foraging poop. She was eating small amounts of kale until yesterday - I stopped offering it - so I am thinking that is the green.

I really want to thank everyone for the help - especially KikisGirls! I've owned chickens most of my life and have been very fortunate to have never had an ill hen - not like this. Praying my girl gets better, and doing all I can to get her healthy. :)

She needs to be drinking ..keep an eye on her waterer levels
If not make sure you are tubing at least 100 ml into her per day.
Which is about 1/2 cup.

I have been doing a mix of yogurt, applesauce, a small amount of Pedialyte and starter crumbles (I have a few young hens still on this), which I am syringing into her. I made it a bit thicker today. I also give her the Corid/water mix, and do this several times a day since she doesn't seem to be interested on her own. And today was the 3rd/final day of the stronger Corid/water drops dose. She is getting AT LEAST a 1/2C of water throughout the day. The only thing she seems to really be eating on her own are the sunflower seeds. She is out in her yard today, dust bathing and walking around, but still not really foraging. She picks at little things but isn't eating any of it. She has oyster shell, grit, water, and feed all available, but just pecks.

I have the rest of my main flock on the Corid/water mix and will do this for a couple more days (5 days total). I have a separate coop with younger hens (around 4 mos. old) that are still on medicated starter/grower feed. Should I be giving them the Corid/water mix, or are they too young?

They are not too young for Corid.
Sometimes chicks as young as a week old get an over load of Coccidiosis and need Corid in order to survive.
If you are treating on or two for Coccidiosis it is probably best you treat EVERYONE.
Age doesn't matter.

Sunflower seeds are just like chips.
Of course she is going to want the junk food first, wouldn't we all. lol

I found a vet that treats chickens!! YAY!! We have an appt for tomorrow morning.
One of my younger hens looks like she has a slight bit of runny nose on one side. I don't know if I'm just on edge now, but I'm not taking any chances. Both hens are going for a car ride tomorrow.

Great!!!
Make a list....of things you have done and seen so far in your flock.
Include questions on your list...it will help you to remember everything.

Good idea. My stomach is in knots!! I'm already getting the kitty crates ready for traveling tomorrow. Making a list will help. THANK YOU!!! :)

Another Update: I made a vet appt for today, so OF COURSE, as soon as my hen found out we were taking a little trip she perked right up! She was acting much better yesterday afternoon, and this morning she seemed to be back to normal - eating & drinking, wandering around scratching and foraging in her yard, flapping her wings, even her poop was completely normal - which I took with me to the vet. She checked out just fine!! :) They could find nothing abnormal in her stool, her vitals were all good, and she is a good weight with good muscle. The diagnosis was that it most likely WAS the cocci and I treated it properly. THANK YOU SO MUCH @KikisGirls for all the help!! She will stay in her private condo for a couple more days just to make sure she gets her strength back up and so that I can give her plenty of fluids.

As for my younger Buff with the runny nose: Her nose was just barely runny, but I certainly wasn't taking any chances, so she went for a ride as well. And, OF COURSE, no sign of anything today. She did, however, have a tiny abscess under her ear area that he drained and treated. She got a dose of antibiotics and I will keep her in quarantine for a few days and will keep an eye on it and let it heal.

So! After a very stressful week I am feeling grateful for the advice of my fellow chicken lovers and thankful that my hens are on the mend! :)
