I could definately use some of those! But I have to look more closer tommorow-morning (it's evening now here). But the first inspection gave me and my partner much oooh's and aaaaw's and giggles and Neat! about your ducks, their living conditions and your beautifull living condition!

I have configured my mailbox as the default-mailbox for my domains, so i get everything sent to a non-existing e-mail account in one of my domains. - Mostly a lot of spam…

Will your website only be available in dutch? - I do understand a lot and i was wetting my pants after having it translated into German using Google… You will get a lot more attention if you have secondary pages in English.

Haha. It is intended to only be in Dutch. Getting Indian runner ducks is reallly in now over here, since a big highly respected home-and-garden programme presentator said it helped against our buxus-moth plague..sigh. And it keeps going because now a popular Dutch show a character has one as a house-pet. And a lot of people are just getting them random now, not really thinking it through, and what ducks need, and a lot of bad breeders have rissen to make an easy buck out of it. A lot of sleazy people with sheds or a room in their appartment full of cages of ducklings, no adult ducks in sight, noone knows how and with whom they are bred, often they are half-Indian runner.. or not even at all but the seller tells them they are. I have seen awfull things, like not even cleaning dead ducklings between the cages stuffed with ducklings..I can see the breed being ruined before my eyes. Also a lot of people that found out they do quite cost some work, or found out they were fighting (not knowing that they actually had 6 males and 1 female, since the guy who sold them told them it were 7 females and they never searched anything about Indian runner ducks themselves, how to see which one is a male or female) dump them in nature; where they mix with the natural wild ducks that live here, creating another problem. Also since they can't fly they are easy prey in nature.
Dutch people tend to google-search in Dutch. Hence the website is in Dutch.
And allthough we have a country with one of the highest English speakers, a LOT of people, especially the ones that don't think things through, can't actually read English. They can't watch an English movie without Dutch subtitles, or some can't read subtitles actually at all, let alone read a proper English informational piece about Indian runner ducks.

I'm not planning to make it in English some day. There are already good informational websites about Indian runner ducks. Or they can find backyard chickens. I just want to reach an audience that is not able to read English, handing them information in Dutch on a silver platter, in the hope théy end up with healthier and happy ducks, and the ducks end up better taken care of by them and happy, and the bad breeders make some bucks less, stop, leaving only the serious breeders.

Not much i can say about other than agree in all points!
But i doubt that people will listen to you, unfortunately. People still adore Persian Cats and other sick-breed pets even though it is widely known that they have health issues. And hey, "it's just a duck!" who cares…
