looking for in Iowa

We are looking for a few mottled cochins, some barred cochins, some blue silkies and some black silkies, bantums of coarse,lol. My daughter is wanting to show some pairs of these for 4H this coming season.We do't need all 4 right now but these are the ones she is wanting. We would like a roo and a few hens of each to form a little family group for each.

Are you looking for a breeder or a hatchery? I know there's a hatchery in Webster Iowa that I think has all of those breeds.

I'm in southwestern MN and am the state rep for the silkie clubs. I have 2 pair of 10 month old blacks and 9 of the 2-3 month old blacks available. The older pullets are already laying. The younger group I can make a good guess on sex, but not be 100% sure yet. We also have a huge silkie meet coming up at the BCPPA show in New Ulm on Oct. 8-10th. Should be lots of breeders there and one of the top featherleg judges in the nation lined up.
