Good one, I've been trying for quite some time.
And you want a hen... 
I'm actually starting to breed Lav in from another bantam breed (Ameraucana). But it's a project I expect to take a couple years. Wish I could get more people to participate in trying to get it right.
I saw one cockerel last year... but wasn't committed at the time to spending close to a $100 and still have to work for a couple generations to get back to lav. Now I know I am! Wish I had done it.
