Looking for Salmon Faverolle chicks

Does anyone out there know of any LF Salmon Faverolle breeders in the Western New York area??? I would LOVE to add a couple of Faverolles to my 'collection'.

If you are willing to hatch eggs-PiperOmar on BYC has absolutely beautiful LF SF! I bought one from a hatchery and was poor quality.....one foot had only 4 toes the other 5, and the color wasn't good. I am considering eventually getting into breeding these and have had my eye on Pipers eggs for awhile.

I don't think we are ready to try hatching yet...but I have thought about it! I don't think DH would go for it.

I don't know of any breeders in NY state. Only ones I know of in this part of the country are MA (and all of us are in the eastern part of the state), ME, VT, OH and IN.

I found a hatchery in Seneca Falls, http://thepoultryhatchery.com/ . Anthony was not going to sell us the favs because he was not happy with the color or the way the feet looked, but I talked him into it. I only wanted them for the personality, not to breed or show them. I was very impressed with Anthony's attention to detail and that he did not want to sell a chick that would not be 'correct'. We picked up 3 Faverolles at the end of April along with 3 Cuckoo Marans. They are all friendly and the introductions into the coop went very smoothly. We have a Jersey Giant that is currenlty broody and she picks on them, but other than that, the big girls are being very nice. I will post some pictures soon!

Where in MA are you? I will have extra pullets. They are all 6 weeks and younger at the moment.
