Looky what I got! Fabulous foam for shipping eggs!-Angie! Need more!!!

We are working on it, we have large fowl too, the medium size eggs fit in this but not the large. The material we use is flex enough but you would have the breathing room for the eggs. Thanks for the inquiry.

I have cochins which lay the medium eggs so the foam should work. You said it was $2 each plus shipping. For the $2 each, how many eggs will that hold? Is it 6 eggs or 12? Also, what would shipping be to zip code 42712 for 10 blocks? You can just PM me if you want.

US Parcel is $5.15 for 10, if you order 20 it will be $7.05. Each piece holds 6 eggs.
you can also double it by using polyfoam in between the two eggs then sandwish it with pad on both side. Eggs will be well protected, you can send 12 eggs in one polyfoam this way but I wouldn't suggest you do it with med size eggs because the foam is 3.5 inch thick, it holds well 12 with bantam type eggs.

I think that might get the box stopped in the post!! Yikes!

Can you see Homeland Security getting in on that, since various biological weapons are thought to be grown the same way as vaccines (i.e. in ova)?! I'd *so* be arrested...

I had no trouble at all sending LF eggs in these. I've sent out quite a few FBCM eggs. The eggs are held quite snugly and yet the foam is soft enough that they don't take on any pressure from impacts.

I did some experiments using some of my GIANT EE eggs and loaded up a box just to kick around- you guys all had me intrigued. We played catch and threw it letting it land hard...they're due to hatch in 4 days!!

Renee's right. Anything "biological" has to be declared hazmat (hazardous materials) and will only be moved on surface transportation. Meaning it would take longer for your eggs to get where they're going because the PO wouldn't put them on any air transportation. They would only be allowed on the trucks.

Plus, even your own office didn't send it Hazmat, somewhere down the road might think it should be, and send it right back to where it started.

Don't think you'd get anywhere with that one.

How lucky are we that we have our very own Postal Consultant? Just love that you're able to offer info, Nana!!

Fowlsrus: I had PM'd you about buying foam and you were going to send me an invoice. I have never gotten the invoice. Just wanted to let you know I didn't get it so that you didn't think I was no longer interested.

Thanks. Invoice send. for 10 piece shipping is $4.90. Shipping will be $6.05 for 20 piece, $7.50 for 30 piece. So shipping gets cheaper if order more. And price also depends on the zone, the farther the more expensive. Muchas Gracias!
