I raise muscovies in Northern California and was looking to add some chocolates to my flock. I don't know any good leads though, except Country hatchery. I also have some difficulty telling if the new guys I got are cream,or silver. I mated a Black drake with a chocolate female and blue female. I got a mixed nest and a hatched out 6 blues which are kinda silverish blue, 2 blue/white, 2 black/white, 1 silver/cream?, and 4 blacks. According to the genetics,the blacks should carry chocolate, but I am looking for some show quality birds. Any tips...?
