i just called, but they are closed now...i am 30 minutes away from one of those cities, so i m worried, but not freaking out -yet.
i found a great map on the web site....
click on MOST RECENT DETECTIONS and it will show a bit more info. i just dont know how to put the map up....

Effective when?

It depends when they come to your house and you allow them on your property. I only know the effective date of la county quarantine was yesterday.

stupid question... so when they are saying this

does this happen? does the testing happen when they come to your place? how do they know all the chicken owners in los angeles?

They don’t know all the chicken owners.

Thank you. When I called there wasn’t even an option to talk to someone. From what I could find online I would have most likely received a notice or visit already so I’m hopeful we aren’t in the euthanasia zone.

i cant do that I’ll have to call them to get them no way can I do that. If there was no other choice yes but if they take them I’d rather that. I can’t picture putting my baby chicks in bleach. Also the website said 120 days but I highly doubt it’ll be eradicated by then the way this is going. Thank you for the information I just don’t think I can do it myself

You might not have to. The part about bleach is after you’ve killed the bird then you bleach and double bag- anyway I’d just keep them safe- a friend had all indoor brooding birds and they didn’t take them. They left them in her garage - don’t worry about that now maybe they will never get to you

Also kellie they took some people’s birds -they did not have to do it themselves- that was on a group message from a lady in Fontana
