Isn't the latest CA strain from Honduras?
It's a cross between ca2002, belize2007 and honduras2008.

Shows you what a joke the whole thing is. If poultry plants would practice adequate bio-security they wouldn't have to worry about what's happening outside their walls.

They had to give back the chickens? The biosec that large commercial farms require is extremely strict for outsiders. Some are tighter than military installations. They are mostly all inside or if out usually under roofed enclosures. An animal rights group went into Sonoma County and stole chickens, they had to be given back, because the protesters breached biosec, thousands of birds got killed. The farm later closed.

And that is the down side of vaccines, the virus develops into another strain that is not affected. Of course, Mexico is going to do and say what works for Mexico and whether they are believed or not, is up to whatever country wants to roll the dice in that direction.Hmm. I read somewhere that Mexico had been declared VND free for export purposes in 2015. The 12/2018 usda study says CA2018 is resistant to vaccine strains largely used in Mexico.
Here's video of them pulling out just deceased chickens from the trash can and testing them IFO owners:
Given all that, there's only one plausible way the virus could have entered: A worker brought it in. A worker involved in cockfighting would be at particularly high risk. The farms won't like this but perhaps the next reg should be on-site showers and fresh biosuits/booties each day for workers at least in California.
Testing the birds after they have been gassed is pointless if the test comes back negative for vND.People asked for more video evidence.
Here is video of them not utilizing gas correctly:

Like I said, there's a debate over whether the wider euth is necessary. But this certainly is not.
If they're testing on site that means they're doing an antibody test, correct?
Just a guess, but if anything comes back positive, a new perimeter is set up and the killing continues...Testing the birds after they have been gassed is pointless if the test comes back negative for vND.
