glad i found this forum. as a bird owner in SoCal been wanting to stay up to date with this issue. joined the Save Our Birds group and although i feel deeply for people losing their pets and definitely feel CDFA is overreaching and generally doing a piss poor job in handling this, i just cant with that group anymore. too much paranoia and hysteria is clouding the facts. when youve got someone who believes the government is trying to kill her....yeaaahhhh...time to move on. found some really useful info in this thread so thank you all for that. will keep following!

I am really not liking what I am seeing in the high desert where Victorville and Hesperia are now spreading towards Palmdale and Lancaster.

I don't live in the area, but one thing I know for sure as we all do if the detections stop alot of folks are going to be out of a job. I have seen two videos where some guy pulls out something and uses it and has been called on it but nothing seems to happen with that.

Well, I have read the press release, perhaps negotiations are in order, but I think it is too soon. If it all blows over now, they will just go back to the way it was. What I really want is accountability for the unjustified, disrespectful, inhumane treatment of law-abiding citizens and the poultry/pets they care for. If they had been upfront in their dealings with the public, properly trained the selected employees they sent to peoples houses, and properly supervised these operations, no lawsuit would have been filed. And, if they had reacted more quickly and done more sooner, most likely it would be over by now... I don't think that truly humane treatment of people and the animals they care for is too much to ask. Instead, what was served up was lies, manipulation, and untrained, sadistic, personnel, with either no knowledge of biohazard techniques, or no interest in practicing them because they are more motivated to extend the duration of their temporary employment. Perhaps Ms Jones has too much going on at her personal farm to properly devote time to her government job... I have to wonder if she has ever left Sacramento during all this.

At the time of my post I watched Kerri Elaine's latest video... actually her two most recent ones..which clearly shows her making fun of people's weight and appearances. Ridiculous.

she does the same to herself. she gave them nicknames only because they refuse to give their name or show proper ID. Even jones thinks it's funny and calls her hater kerri

Someone on the SOB site from Cherry Valley says she spoke with CDFA today and the positive test from 6/4 was in Cherry Valley.
That’s a bit northeast of where they have been.

Maybe I’m too kind hearted, but I feel bad for Kerri. Her birds were unlawfully and inhumanely killed.

"unlawfully"? I don't think so. I'm thinking that purchasing a gas chamber put in the back of a pickup truck might not be a bad idea. Particularly since this seems to be a years long problem. Then everybody can call it the "death mobile" or something.

Yes unlawfully. The test results of her birds had come back negative and her flock was not supposed to be euthanized.
