hello! I came home from work today and there were a lot of feathers in the coop. I only have two chickens, one is coming out of her bloodiness and the other had a strange line on her feathers on her breast. I looked both of them over and did not see any mites or lice. I checked their coop for mites, I had a case last year so I know what to look for and where they would be hiding. Any other ideas why? It’s been very hot where I live in Michigan. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas! Thank you in advance!

Ok so here are her pictures, when I went to get a close up I looked at her feet, could this be bumble foot? Could that be causing it? Thank you!

everything looks normal bedsides the feathers. might be because of the heat or having troublw molting. either way just make sure she has plenty of food+cold water

i don't think she has bumble foot because she is still standing on that foot. if she stops using that leg/foot then she might have bumblefoot. does it look swelled? is there anything she could have cut her foot on?

Ok, great, I will make sure her water is cold, I didn’t realize that made a difference. Thank you!

There is a skirt of chicken wire around the coop so animals don’t dig that they just dig up the end of it so she could have cut it on that but she’s not limping at all so I feel like she is fine.
