18 eggs which came through the US Mail in perfect condition; zero results. Today was Day 23. The past several days the weather here in La has been wild--we had a record breaking high of 95 on Wed & today a high of 73--actually felt chilly outside. The temps and humidity have swung wildly these past 4 days & I know that was the majority of the problem. I had six still living last Tues night. There was only one egg that chirped & tried to pip, and it broke my heart that it didn't make it. It wasn't fully formed even, so there was no chance. I'm going to concentrate on raising my little chicklets from Meyer--do not have the heart to go through attempting to incubate again this year. I put the homemade bator in storage; out of sight & out of mind for now.
