Sorry, WWIT, but I've gotta vote with the cockerel folks. This looks WAY too light to be a pullet. My BR roo looked very much like that at that age, and is now a big strapping and even slightly lighter looking (very defined narrow bars w/ white) black & white, while Betty (BR hen) is much darker looking with less definition in the barring. Hope your fella is a good roo!
I know you all keep making my sad by saying she is a he.... but look how dark the roo is in the pic of the week. Could it be she is just a light hen????
