Hello everyone! First time poster here and I would like some suggestions from you guys on what to do. My parents raise chickens and we currently have chicks. Earlier today our neighbor came and asked if we had chicks, and my sister who answered the door said that we did. And so our neighbor handed us our "chick" back that happened to have escaped from either our outside coop or from indoors. The chick seemed a bit lethargic, and kept wobbling, probably due to being away from any heat source. So I placed the lost chick with our other chicks and right away I could tell that they were different! There are three distinct patterns that our chicks have, and this "chick" was off. Its pattern was different, and its chirp or cheep was different. After some time and thinking, we figured that it is most likely a wild baby turkey! The baby turkey is roughly the same size as the chicks we have indoors and we have wild turkeys in our forest, so they do reside here where we live. I also gave the baby turkey some sugared water to give it a little energy. So my questions are; Is it safe to keep it with our chicks? What should we do with this baby turkey? Any input is much appreciated! Thanks!

If he is a turkey,
Turkeys should not be kept with chicks, because chickens can carry a lot of diseases. At the very least, you'd probably have to keep them on wire floors so they can't touch each others' poop. You might see if you can contact a wildlife rehabilitator and, in the meantime, possibly separate him out with a mirror for company.
