Ok. So we're down to 16 duck eggs. I opened the incubator to turn the eggs and whoa! Smelly. I found the culprit and took it to the compost. I will be candling tomorrow night so we'll see. On a more positive note, I started incubating 6 cemani and 6 svart hoyas yesterday.

Good job you smelt it and got it outside in time! Rotten eggs are like little grenades that can explode at any time. What day of incubation are you on?

I hope you didn't start the new eggs in the same incubator with these eggs that are almost two weeks along. You could lose them in a staggered hatch.

lol... ducks, Cemani and Araucanas... I have those too...

Where did you get the Cemanis & Svarts and the Araucanas? Hatching is addictive, but you do want to be careful of your sources...

Found another stinker. Down to 15 ducks eggs. Going to candle them later tonight and see what's going on.
