Lost. Every. One.

I candled them and although all air pockets got bigger, I only have movement in two eggs. I think the air pocket growth happened between the last candling and when the incubator malfunctioned. I traced the air pockets and will candle again in a few days for confirmation of life or death. If they died the air cells won't get bigger right?
It's sad.

Air cells can get bigger even if the embryo isn't alive, it's simply moisture evaporating out of the shell...

Can you see any veins? Did you tap on the shell with your fingernail while candling? If you can't see movement a tap or 2 will usually make a live embryo move a bit...

I didn't tap. Some have veins and some don't. I can't see anything through one of them, the light won't shine through it. I could barely see the air cell. Thanks for the info on the air cells. I thought they only got bigger when the embryo was developing.

Well.... it's lockdown time. Of the 17 that I accidentally overheated by getting the sensor in the bator wet, 2 have made it to lockdown. One should start pipping any minute now and the other is still iffy. Not sure if it's alive or not. I think it is alive. I will keep everyone posted.
