Lost eye or just injured?

we have a pekin duck that I noticed was sleeping. Well it ended up there is something wrong with her eye. I didn’t notice this yesterday. I have vetericyn plus for pecking wound, cuts, frostbite, and vent prolapse. Can I use that on the ducks eye?

I think that it is more for wounds on the skin, but they make an eye gel and eye wash as well. You probably should clean out the eye with saline, or try to squeeze and pus out of the eye, before giving an eyedrop or some Terramycin eye ointment, twice a day. I have used plain Neosporin ointment in a pinch on my chickens.

Same as above but is it just me or does she appear to be swollen all the way to her chin? Was she grabbed by something and do check the rest of her face and throat for additional injuries and bruising underneath the feathers there
