The only thing you can do is protect your flock. I have electric wire around my coops and pens, concrete under the gates and heavy duty netting covering all of the pens. I have had predators kill some of my birds. I did loose a couple of birds recently from a coyote. Somehow it got a gate opened. I now have the gate wired shut. This was my first loss it a number of years. I have several game cameras on my property that I check daily. Most of the time I get a predator on at least one of the cameras. I do eliminate the predators after a kill if I can. Here it's legal to kill a predator if they are preying on livestock. I lost over a dozen birds to the both the bobcat and a fox. Good luck...
